Eligibility Requirements
- You must be a current Appalachian Power residential delivery service customer.
- Your residential Appalachian Power account is for an address in the state of West Virginia.
- Application must be submitted within 45 days from purchase date or by January 15th of the following year, whichever comes first.
- You have not submitted another Appalachian Power ENERGY STAR® Central Air Conditioner rebate within the calendar year.
- Each customer is limited to one ENERGY STAR® Central Air Conditioner rebate per calendar year.
- The rebate paid will not exceed the purchase price (excluding taxes, shipping and installation charges).
- Rebate eligibility requirements are subject to change without notice, including early termination of this promotion.
- AHRI Rated ≥ 16 SEER2 and < 17 SEER2, system qualifies for a $300 rebate.
- AHRI Rated ≥ 17 SEER2 and < 18 SEER2, system qualifies for a $400 rebate.
- AHRI Rated ≥ 18 SEER2 and < 19 SEER2, system qualifies for a $600 rebate.
- AHRI Rated ≥ 19 SEER2, system qualifies for a $700 rebate.
- Efficient EER2 must be ≥ 11.8
- Heat pumps are not eligible for a rebate.
